into pre-drilled holes as indicated by Green Arrows attaching

(also all the same) making sure all edges are flush. Repeat for other two sets too.
Note:
Only drive screws deep enough to hold and try not to bury heads too deeply into the wood.
1.2 Attach The 3 Units Together To Form Lower Back Assembly:
In a large flat area, attach the three units built in
Fig 1
into the Lower Back Assembly as indicated in
Fig 1A
using
E1 Brown Screws into Pre-Drilled Holes as indicated by arrows. Repeat until you have the entire 3 Unit Assembly. All of the pieces are the same. Set aside assembly when complete.

These screws will be a little at an
angle but that is okay.

Note:
Water accumulating in screw holes can causes premature rot
so we in some instances pre-drill from the bottom side going up.
