Disposal of products and used batteries

points where it will be accepted free of charge. Alternatively, in some 
countries, you may be able to return your products to your local retailer 
upon purchase of an equivalent new product. Disposing of this product

negative effects on human health and the environment, which could 
otherwise arise from inappropriate waste handling.

Warranty

The 

Uranochip

®

 Scanner

 comes with a 2 year return to base warranty 

from the date of purchase. The warranty is limited to any defects in 
materials components or manufacture including any defects in 
workmanship under normal use. Faults arising from misuse, neglect, 
disassembly are not covered by this warranty. 
If a fault arises which is covered by the warranty then the manufacturer will 
either replace or repair the product free of charge at the manufacturer’s 
discretion. In the event of requiring warranty support then the distributor 
should be contacted in the first instance on [email protected]. Your 
statutory rights are not affected.

Uranochip

®

 Scanner

 is supplied with a USB lead for 

charging its internal rechargeable battery.

Recharging

Before using your 

Uranochip

®

 Scanner 

for the first time, it will need to be 

charged for 3½ hours. 

      will appear on the display when the battery is running low with the   
message “Battery Low”. To recharge the battery, plug the USB cable into 
the back of the 

Uranochip

®

 Scanner 

and into an available USB port on 

either a computer or wall plugin charger. During the charging cycle, the 
display will switch off.  To see if the battery has finished charging, press the 
start button and the display screen will inform you if it is “charging” or 
“charged”. 

        will appear on the display when the battery is fully charged.

Scanning

To start your 

Uranochip

®

 Scanner

, simply push the on/off      symbol on the 

back panel and release. The display will show “Halo Scanner Scanning” 
and the scanner will emit a single beep. If no valid microchip is found 
within 20 seconds, then the display will show “No Tag Found” and the 
scanner will again emit a single beep. To start scanning again just press 
the     symbol again. The 

Uranochip

®

 Scanner

 will automatically switch off 

after 50 seconds.
The outer surface of your 

Uranochip

®

 Scanner

 is the scanning area and 

when a valid microchip is found the scanner will emit a double beep and 
the microchip number will be shown on the display.
To review previously scanned numbers, wait until the scanner has 
powered down. Then press and hold the power button on the back for 
four seconds and then release. To scroll through the list, press the power 
button once to see the next number. To exit this mode, press and hold the 
power button for four seconds and release.
