The depression mechanism cylinders
are located at the end of the power
module and the control module.

EMOVAL
1. Open the module door to reach the
desired depression mechanism cyl-
inder.
2. Support the depression tube from
underneath.

Before disconnecting the battery
negative (–) lead, make sure all
switches are OFF. If ON, a spark will
occur at the ground terminal which
could cause an explosion if hydrogen
gas or fuel vapors are present.
3. Disconnect the battery pack connector and the battery negative (–) lead.
4. Tag and disconnect the electrical connections from the solenoid.
5. Tag and disconnect the hoses from the cylinder fittings and immediately cap the openings to prevent
foreign material from entering.
6. Remove the retaining rings from the depression cylinder clevis pins
7. Pull the cylinder off the pins.
