18. Ensure that an adequate
distance (at least 100 cm
is maintained to branches,
bushes, shrubbery, furni-
ture, curtains, or other flam-
mable objects. The distance
to the ceiling must be at
least 30 cm.
19. The head of the radiant hea-
ter must be at least 180 cm
off the ground.
20. Keep your head, hair, head
coverings, etc. away from the
reflector: Danger of burns!
21. Do not operate the appliance
in garages, woodsheds or
similar spaces.
22. Do not set up the appliance
in the vicinity of flammable
materials, such as petrol,
benzene, paints, etc.

a suitable, level, heat-resis-
tant substrate.

is laid out in such a manner
that there is no possibility of
stumbling over it.

never wrap the power cord
around the appliance.

always unplug the mains
plug from the electrical out-
let by grasping the plug,
never pull the power cord to
unplug the appliance.

outlet used is easily acces-
sible, in order to unplug the
appliance in an emergency.

not pinched or pulled over

extension cord. If you must
use an extension cord, com-
pletely unwind the extension
cord and comply with the
power limits of the respec-
tive extension cord.
