5. The indicator light on the lower
part of the appliance shows that
the appliance is in operation.
6. To switch off the appliance, place
the rotary regulator on the 0
position.
7. Always switch off the appliance
after use by placing the rotary
regulator in the 0 position, and
unplug the appliance from the
electrical outlet.
Be aware that the appliance
can become very hot - fire
hazard! Particularly ensure
that children are kept away
from the appliance.
CLEANING AND CARE
Switch off the appliance. To
switch off the appliance, place
the rotary regulator on position
“O” and unplug the mains plug.
Allow the appliance to cool
completely.
1. Never use any abrasive scouring
agents, steel wool, metal
objects, hot cleaning agents or
disinfectants.
2. To clean the filter, open the filter
cover. Remove the filter and clean
it with warm water that must not
be hotter than 30°C. (If the filter
is dirty you can simply replace it.
Take the filter out and replace it
with a new filter, which you can
order directly from us at any time.)
3. Allow the filter dry completely,
before you reinsert it. Then
carefully close the filter cover.

You can remove dust in the
appliance if you carefully hold a
vacuum cleaner against the air
inlet and outlet grille.
5. Store the fan heater in a dry, safe
place so that it is protected from
dust, shocks, heat and moisture.
OVERHEATING PROTECTION CIRCUIT
1. The appliance is equipped with
an overheating protection circuit
that switches the appliance off
when it is heated over 70° C.
2. If the overheating protection cir-
cuit has been tripped, switch the
appliance off, unplug the plug
from the electrical outlet and let
the appliance cool for at least
10 minutes.
3. Eliminate the cause of the over-
heating, (e.g. excessive dust in
the appliance, air outlet grille is
covered) and start up the appli-
ance again.
4. If after eliminating the cause, you
still cannot switch the appliance
back on, or if the overheating pro-
tection circuit switches on wit-
hout an apparent reason, contact
our customer service organisation.
