when the MP5 is used with Star NX-1001 printer.
6. INITIAL SETUP PROCEDURE
6.1 BEFORE CHANGING THE POSITION OF THE MP5 ON THE BENCH, ALWAYS REMOVE THE
DEVICE HOLDER FROM THE BASEPLATE.
6.2 Connect the Keypad to the Keypad Receptacle on the rear of the MP5.
6.3 Connect the MP5 to an outlet of the proper line voltage.
6.4 PRINTER SETUP - Detailed instructions for printer installation and operation are provided in the
printer’s User’s Guide and Technical Reference Manual which are included with the printer. Set up the
printer as explained in the printer manual.
