Select the generator that is right for you:
1.Identify all items that you would need to power.
2.Add up the total watts.
All appliances and tools have different voltage and amperage requirements. Use the
following formula to convert voltage and amperage to wattage.
FORMULA: VOLTS X (times) AMPS = WATTS
i.e. 120 Volts X 10 Amps = 1200 Running Watts
3.Electric motors require more watts for starting.
4.Purchase generator that exceeds total watts(including starting watts).
NOTE:
Pre-operation checks should be made each time the generator is used.
GROUNDING
1.To prevent an electric shock, ensure that the generator is grounded. A copper rod driven
into the ground and a copper wire attached from the rod to the generator frame will give
you solid protection against electrical shock.
CHECK ENGINE OIL
1.The engine is shipped from factory without oil.
2.Before checking or refilling oil, ensure that the
engine is off and the generator sits on a stable
and level surface area.
3.If oil level is below the lower level, refill with
suitable oil to upper level line. Do not screw in
the oil filler cap when checking oil level.
Oil Capacity: 0.35L
Recommended Oil: In Summer: SAE 30
In Winter: SAE 5W30
CHECK ENGINE FUEL
1.Check fuel level with the tank cap removed.
2.If fuel level is low, refill with unleaded automotive gasoline.
3.Always use fuel filter screen on the fuel filter neck.
4.Fuel tank capacity: 6.0 liters
NOTE:
Be careful not to spill fuel when refueling as it is highly flammable and any spilled
