
SPARK PLUG:
1.Dismantle the spark plug with high pressure cap.
2.Remove the spark plug.
3.Clear away carbon sediment.
4.Check for discoloration. Standard Color: Tan
5.Check spark plug gap. Standard: 0.7-0.8mm (0.028-0.031in)
6.Reinstall the spark plug.
ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT:
1.Ensure that the generator is on a stable and level surface area.
2.Turn and take out the dipstick.
3.Place an oil pan under the engine. Remove the oil drain plug so that the oil can be
completely drained.
4.Check the oil drain plug, gasket, oil filler cap, and “o”-ring. Replace if damaged.
5.Reinstall the drain plug. Tighten the plug securely.
6.Add engine oil to the upper level.
7.Reinstall the dipstick.
Recommended Oil:In Summer: SAE 30
In Winter: SAE 5W30
AIR FILTER:
Dirt induced through improperly installed, improperly serviced, or inadequate elements
damages and wears out engines. To extend generator life, always keep the element clean.
1.Remove air filter.
2.Clean air filter well with kerosene and dry it.
3.Coat with motor oil (i.e. SAE 20). Squeeze motor oil out by hand.
4.Reinstall air filter.
CAUTION:
•NEVER run the generator without the air filter in place.
FUEL COCK:
1.Stop the engine and turn the fuel cock level to “OFF” position.
2.Clean with solvent and wipe off.
3.Check the gasket and replace it if damaged.
WARNING:
BE sure the fuel cock cup is tightened securely.
