2.1.2-3 <AUTORUN>

AUTORUN

> mode.  Press [

] to return to the device setting mode. 

 

<AUTORUN>

 automatically runs the selected program once you change the default.  The default of 

AUTORUN has been set up in “off” mode.  Three programs can be selected; they are 

<FORMCACHING>, 

<APG580>, and <OFF>

.  Once you define the selected program, the program will automatically activate 

when you restart the unit.  The main menu will be run in the program.

 

 
2.1.3 <MODEM INIT> 
 

To perform modem command, plug in the modem and it will be automatically initiated.  To execute 
<

MODEM INIT

>, press [

] to enter this mode.  Press [

ESC

] to return to the previous menu. 

 
2.1.4 <SUPERVISOR> 
 

When entering into

 “SUPERVISOR” 

mode, you will be required to input your password.

FORMCACHING 

 

From the main menu, 

FORMCACHING

 can be selected to input simple inventory information. 

In the default setting for 

FORMCACHING

, Field 1 is defined as 

“item”

, and Field 2 is defined as

 “Q’ty”

.  To 

change the default of the fields, go to

 “FORM” 

under

 “SUPERVISOR”

 in the mode category.

RUN APG580

 

 

APG580

” is an application generator that enables you to create applications that perform more 

sophisticated inventory tracking than is possible with FORMCACHING. 
To run APG580, download it to your HT580 from the included CD.  Please refer to technical binder for a
