Warranty
THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, BY OPERATION OF LAW, OR OTHERWISE.
UNISYS DISCLAIMS THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE AS TO BOTH UNISYS AND NON UNISYS PRODUCTS.
Unisys warrants that Equipment supplied by Unisys will be free from defects in material and workmanship and will
substantially conform to relevant Unisys published specifications, including, if applicable, any designation of
Equipment as Year 2000 Ready for a period of twelve (12) months from its date of delivery to purchaser, subject to the
limitations in below. Equipment (a) may be newly manufactured, (b) may be assembled from new or serviceable used
parts that are equivalent to new parts in performance, or (c) may have been previously installed. During this twelve-
month warranty period, Unisys (or its designee) will repair or replace any defective item of Equipment or part or
component of Equipment promptly reported or sent to Unisys (or its designee) by purchaser which Unisys (or its
designee) determines was defective due to faulty materials or workmanship. Purchaser will pay transportation and
insurance costs to ship Equipment if an off-site repair location is designated by Unisys (or its designee); Unisys (or its
designee) will pay the return costs if the Equipment was defective. Labor costs of diagnosis are not included in this
warranty.
