The minimum requirements for an accurate
crimping process are:
Fitting and workpiece match each other. The nominal di-
ameter of the workpiece must not deviate from the crimp-
ing diameter of the workpiece by over 3 mm, otherwise
there may be increased crimping conicity. Die sets may
be ordered from UNIFLEX-Hydraulik.
Mount the appropriate die set.
Push the compression die backward to the stop – this
provides a large clearing in the device.
Place
the
first
die half into the 4 grooves
at the back

Place the
second
die half into the 4 grooves
at the front
. Check whether all dies are fully inserted in
the grooves.
Mark the fitting's plug-in depth on the hose.
Mount the fitting on the hose in accordance with the plug-
in mark.
Manually place a pre-fabricated workpiece into the de-
vice from below. (Minimum safe distance of 120 mm)
Position and hold the workpiece in the device (minimum
safe distance of 120 mm).

Never position the die halves with an offset of 90

Pull the push ram forward to the zero position
