The PC now needs to be reset so that the network “proxy” device can be re-used so that it can answer to the IP
address which was already set as well as the second IP address which is compatible for direct communication
with the pCOWeb (as in our case for example http://10.0.8.56)
1. Open the Windows “Control panel”
2. Double click “Internet options”; the windows shown in Figure 4.d above (left) will be displayed
3. Click “Connections”. Another window (Figure 4.d – right) will be displayed.
4. Click “LAN Settings…”
5. Click onto “proxy server” and “Advanced…”
6. In “Exceptions” field enter the address chosen for communications with pCOWeb (for example:
http://10.0.8.56)

Close the windows using the OK button.
