When the Battery Charge becomes Low
If the phone is not in use, ‘Low Battery’ indicator flashes and none of the keys
will operate. If the phone is in use, ‘Low Battery’ indicator flashes and the
handset beeps. Complete your conversation as quickly as possible and return the
handset to the base unit for charging.
• You cannot overcharge the battery.
• You may return the handset to the
charger after each call or when the
battery is low.
Cleaning the Battery contacts
To maintain a good charge, it is important to clean the battery contacts on the
handset and base unit with a dry cloth or a pencil eraser about once a month.
Do not use any liquids or solvents.
Adjusting The Ringer & Earpiece Volume
Handset Ringer Tone and Volume
1. While the handset is not in use, press the
key.
2. The phone has two ringer tones, each with two volume levels. Press the
key again until you hear the ringer tone and volume level you want.
When you hang up, the phone keeps the last setting selected.
Setting the Earpiece Volume
1. While you are on a call, press the
key.
2. The phone has three receiver volume levels. Normal, High and Max. Press the
key again until you hear the volume level you want.
When you hang up, the phone keeps the last setting selected.
Setting the Base Speaker Volume
To adjust the Speaker Volume on the Base Unit, slide the switch on the side of the
base until the desired level is reached.
Setting the Base Ringer Volume
To adjust the Ringer Volume of your telephone, move the ringer switch, located at
the rear of the telephone, to the desired level -
off/low/high
