BIRDIES
All radios can receive "birdies" (undesired signals). If your
scanner stops during Scan mode and no sound is heard, it might
be receiving a birdie. Birdies are internally generated signals
inherent in the electronics of the receiver. Birdies are especially
present at the 16MHz multiple (ex. 32 MHz, 480 MHz) - (Internal
CPU clock).
You can skip the birdies to lock out the frequency.
