If you would like to use a phone number stored in memor y to access voice
mail, for example, you can store a pause in the phone number sequence.
To use this function, follow steps 1 and 2 in “Storing a Number in Memor y “ ,
then press the
p
paau
ussee
button on the handset to place a pause in the phone
number sequence. Each pause counts as one digit and represents a two
second delay of time between the digits.
Follow the remaining steps in th e “ Storing a Number in Memor y“ section to
complete the operation.

If your phone is set up for pulse dialing, you can store a mixed mode number
(up to 20 digits) to easily access long distance services.
1. Remove the handset from the base and press

2. Enter the number to be dialed in pulse mode.
3. Press the

and a number (0-9) on the keypad for the memor y location
