BOGEY TONES
Bogey tones sound if a different Ka band signal is detected during a Ka band alert.
Set the tones in the Menus.
MAINTENANCE
MAINTAINING THE EQUIPMENT
The R1 requires very little physical maintenance. Wipe it with a soft cloth to keep
dust from accumulating. Check the power cord connections to keep them clean and
free of corrosion.
UPDATING THE FIRMWARE
Uniden recommends that you update your R1’s firmware periodically. Go to www.
support.uniden.com, find your model, and check if you have the latest firmware.
Follow the instructions on the website to update your firmware if you need to. Reset
to factory defaults through the Menus after the new firmeware is installed.
