Using your phone
MUTE
Press the
mute
button to turn off the handset microphone,
allowing private conversations in the same room without the
calling party hearing.
Press the
mute
button again to resume the
conversation with the calling party.
During the mute condition, the display will show < MIC MUTE >.
PLACING A CALL ON HOLD
1.
To place a call on hold, press the
hold
button
and hang up.
2.
To begin conversation again:
Pick up the handset or press the
speaker
button or pick up an extension phone,
the hold will then be automatically released.
NOTE
The
hold/speaker
LED will flash, the display
will show < CALL ON HOLD >.
