• DO NOT position your product:
- less than one metre away from other
electrical appliances,
e.g. TV and radio sets, clock/alarms and
computers, or you risk interference.
- on antique/veneered wood (as the product
may become warm during charging).
- on carpets or other surfaces which generate
fibres.
Always ensure free flow of air over the products
surfaces.
• DO NOT expose your product:
- to water (or use it in damp conditions, such
as in bathrooms).
- to fire, explosive or other hazardous
conditions.
- to direct sunlight.
• DO NOT dispose batteries with ordinary
domestic refuse. There is a risk of the release of
highly toxic chemicals.
Wipe the handset, base and charger with a damp
(not wet) cloth, or an anti-static wipe. Never use a
dry cloth as this may cause a static shock. Never
use household polish as this will damage the
product.
Over time, as the handset batteries wear out, the
talk and standby times after charging will reduce.
The batteries will eventually need replacing.
1 Remove the battery compartment cover and the
old batteries.
2 Insert rechargeable batteries. Connect the
batteries with the correct polarity. Replace
the battery compartment cover.
