Entering Text on Your Phone
• Use the 12-key dial pad anytime you want to enter text into your phone
(a name in the phonebook, the handset banner, etc.).
• If two letters in a row use the same key, enter the first letter; wait for the
cursor to move to the next space and enter the second letter.

Press and hold the speed dial number for 1.5 seconds.
After you verify that the system is displaying the correct
phonebook data for that speed dial number, press

or take the corded handset off hook.
* After 5 minutes on hold, the call will be disconnected.
Assigning a Speed Dial Number
You can assign a speed dial number to a phonebook entry when you create
that entry for the first time or when you edit it. Press
PhonebooK
and select
Create New
. As you enter the phonebook number, one of the options you
will see is to assign a speed dial number to that phonebook entry. You can
assign up to 10 speed dials, 0 - 9.
