Menu Option What it does

RESET

The handset and base will return to the factory default 
settings. When the phone prompts to confirm, press 

MENU/OK

. The phone becomes Welcome Mode. See 

page 3 to continue to set up. To use this feature, turn 
on the power of all handsets and place near the base.

LINE SETTINGS

 Menu

The settings on this menu affect all handsets and the base. Only one 
handset at a time can change these settings. Before changing these 
settings, make sure no handset is on a call and all handsets are within 
range of the base.

Menu Option What it does

COUNTRY

You can change the country setting from the one 
chosen during the Welcome Mode. The phone 
settings are automatically adjusted for the selected 
country. When the phone prompts to confirm, press 

MENU/OK

. Then you need to set the language for all 

handsets. To use this feature, turn on the power of all 
handsets and place near the base.

RECALL TIME

Recall time is the time delay by which the line will be 
disconnected after you press 

TALK/FLASH

 during a call. 

It can be set to 

SHORT

MEDIUM

, or 

LONG

.

FIRST RING

If you have subscribed to Caller ID, your phone may 
start to ring before the Caller ID displays on the 
screen. To prevent it, set this option to 

OFF

.

DIAL MODE

Choose tone or pulse dialing.  If you use pulse dialing 
and you need to send DTMF tones during a call, press 
and hold 

*

 to temporarily switch to tone dialing. 

When the call ends, the phone automatically returns 
to pulse dialing mode.
