The 

HS SETTINGS

 Menu

You can change these settings separately for each handset.

Menu Option

What it does

HANDSET NAME

Change the name used on the handset’s display.

 HANDSET  TONES

Change the settings for the handset tones (see 
page 11).

LANGUAGE

Change the display language.

AUTO ANSWER

Have this handset answer a call when you pick it up 
from the cradle (without pressing any keys).

AUTO HANGUP

Have this handset hang up a call when you return 
the handset to the cradle. If you set to 

OFF

, the call 

will switch to a speakerphone call when you return 
the handset to the cradle.

VOICE MAIL

Program your voice mail access number so you can 
get messages with one button (see page 21).

 Menu

You can set up about the clock and the alarm with this menu.

Menu Option

What it does

SET DATE & TIME

Set the date and time on your phone (see page 10).

 SET  FORMAT

Set the date and time format (see page 10).

ALARM

Set these menu options to use the alarm feature on 
your handset (see page 20).

ALARM TONE

AUTO CLOCK ADJ

Turn on so the phone sets date and time automatically 
when an incoming call is received. (You need to 
subscribe to the Caller ID to use this feature.)
