4.2 Installation conditions

Set up dehumidifier

Operate the dehumidifier in a closed area as it creates a
drying chamber. Close any doors, windows or areas
that open to the outside to maximize the dehumidifier's
water removal efficiency. Place the dehumidifier in the
middle of the room, away from walls, heat sources and
furnishings. Prevent the airflow from being obstructed.

4.3 Principle of operation

The dehumidifier works on the condensation principle.

The room air is sucked through a filter and through a
cooling element, where the water vapors of the air
condense to water droplets. The drops of water then run
into a condensed water tray and further into the water
tank, while the dried cold air is passed through the
condenser of the unit and heated again blown into the
room. The temperature of the blown air is approx. 2-5 °
C above room temperature. This heat gain is generated
by the energy supplied to the compressor and fan, as
well as the heat that is released when condensing the
water vapor.

Due to the constant circulation of the room air through
the device, the relative humidity of the air is gradually
reduced, whereby a quick and gentle drying of the room
is achieved.

ATTENTION!

Always place the humidifier in an upright position. If
you are transporting a dehumidifier to the site, let it
stand for 30 minutes before turning it on. This is nec-
essary to stabilize the cooling system and avoid sys-
tem damage.
