- Never use the power cord to move or lift the 

dehumidifier.

- Disruptions that affect safety are eliminated immedia-

tely.

- Do not switch on the device in case of malfunction or if 

the device is damaged. Damaged parts must be re-
placed immediately.

- Do not overload the dehumidifier! You work better and 

safer in the specified performance range.

- Do not place any objects on the device.
- Operate the device on a straight and stable surface. 
- Do not operate the device on a metal surface.
- Keep the air inlet and outlet free.
- Do not place the appliance close to walls or other ob-

jects like curtains, etc.

- Do not tilt the appliance during operation, as the 

leaking water can cause damage to the dehumidifier.

- The Dehumidifier is not intended for use in wet or 

damp rooms. Keep it away from water.

- Do not use or store this device near fuels, flour, dust, 

thinner or other flammable materials.         

- Do not use flammable cleaning agents to clean this de-

vice.

- Repairs to electrical equipment may only be carried 

out by qualified persons. 

- Only use original spare parts and accessories to avoid 

possible dangers and accident risks.

3 Intended use

The dehumidifier is only suitable for use in the house, for 
drying damp walls, for water damage or to reduce the 
humidity in enclosed spaces. 
Proper use also includes compliance with the operating, 
maintenance and repair conditions prescribed by the 
manufacturer and compliance with the instructions 
contained in the manual Safety instructions.
For constructional and technical changes to the 
Dehumidifier, the company Stürmer Maschinen GmbH as-
sumes no liability.
Claims of any kind due to damage due to improper use are 
excluded.

3.1 Residual risks

- Danger from current, when using improper 

electrical connection cables.

- Contact of live parts with opened electrical com-

ponents

ATTENTION!

Even if used as intended, there may still be residual 
risks despite compliance with all relevant safety 
regulations due to the design determined by the 
intended use. Residual risks can be minimized if the 
"Safety instructions" and the "Intended use" as well 
as the operating instructions as a whole are obser-
ved.
Consideration and caution reduce the risk of perso-
nal injury and damage.
