Care, maintenance and overhaul

Chopping for the attachment of the pulley or the re-
moval of the model EKZT 501-1

Step 1: Align the 2 hook roller hook holes with the holes 

in the electric chain hoist.

Step 2: Secure the hook for the pulley and electrics with 

2 flat round head rivets, 2 smooth washers and 2 
split pins.

The removal takes place in reverse order as the installa-
tion of the hook attachment.

If increased wear is detected during regular checks, 
shorten the required maintenance intervals according to 
the actual signs of wear. If you have questions about 
maintenance work and intervals, contact the manufactu-
rer. The contact details can be found in chapter 1.2 Cu-
stomer Service.

a dealer or our customer service. The contact details can 
be found in chapter 1.2 Customer Service.

All protection and safety equipment must be reinstalled 
immediately after completion of repair and maintenance 
work.

Step 1: Lubricate all moving parts of the chain hoist 

(transmission, bearings) with high quality 
grease. Oil the chain well.

Step 2: Check the chain hoist for external damage before 

each use.

Step 3: Make sure that all safety instructions on the 

chain hoist are clearly legible.

Brake tests are to be carried out as follows: 

Step 1: Attach load

Step 2: Lift the load.

Step 3: Raise and lower load at different heights.

Step 4: Test to ensure that the load can be held in any 

position.
