hank you for purchasing our KLE-Z IP-based KVM Switch Console. We recommend that you read this

manual thoroughly and retain it for future reference.

I. Introduction

The KLE-Z is the latest generation of IP-based KVM Switch Console for remote Server/KVM switch

management. It allows remote management of Server(s) or KVM switch(es) over the Internet/LAN. In

addition to supports for secured access via 1024-bit PKI authentication, 256-bit SSL data encryption,

LDAP, RADIUS, and Active Directory authentication, it has virtualization of ISO file that allows accessing of

remote drive to help manage server. Moreover, it builds in a 2-port Ethernet hub which means while one

port is connected to the network, the other one can still be used by another Ethernet device, such as a

PC, to connected to the network as well.
The KLE-Z provides a solid, reliable, and physical extension of keyboard, mouse, and video to nearly

unlimited distance. It supports for both analog and digital videos through its DVI-I connector. Using two

passive DVI-to-VGA video adapters implements VGA  signal transmission from the system (VGA PC) end

to the console (VGA Monitor) end.
The KLE-Z's gives users a complete control from PC's pre-boot stage such as BIOS-level CMOS setting

with its USB interface. It even realizes a remote Power ON/OFF control to its attached PC/Server with an

external PDU(Power Distribution Unit). With properly planning the KVM infrastructure with the virtual

media, users can even reinstall a new operating system at any server connected to the KLE-Z, feeling free

and confident while remotely accessing the local attached system.
