CONDENSATION DRAIN KIT FOR OUTDOOR UNIT
In the outdoor units with heat pump, condensation is created when running in
heating mode. In this case it may be necessary to convey the condensation
towards a drain.
To do so, proceed as follows:
1. Fix the fitting (1) supplied, in the appropriate hole (2) on the bottom of the out-
door unit. It is fixed by inserting the shaped part of the fitting in the hole and by
turning it by 90° to the right or left according to the specific requirements.
2. Connect the fitting (1) to a sufficiently resistant rubber pipe (2) (so that it is not
deformed or throttled in any way).
3. Secure it with a pipe clip (3) and route it to an appropriate drain.
4. Make sure that the pipe slopes enough to allow the condensation to flow down
naturally.
5. Check the efficiency of the drain by pouring a small amount of water directly into
the tray of the outdoor unit.
Note: The kit is supplied together with the machine for the heat pump versions.
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
To ensure that the air conditioner operates correctly, comply with the denomina-
tion of the units, A - B - C - D - E, when making the electrical and refrigerant connec-
tions: connection of the refrigerant line named A (B-C-D-E) must correspond to the
electrical connection named A ( B-C-D-E).
Refrigerant lines A / B / C / D / E are easily identified by the sticker affixed to the out-
door unit on a level with the unions.
