•
Place the machine body on the pedestal.
Make sure that all four holes in the pede-
stal and the machine body are aligned.
•
Screw in both parts together by using
the supplied screws and washers.
•
Install the sawdust vacuum adapters
and belt cover.
•
Glue the paper grinding wheel on the
machine wheel. Use suitable glue.
•
Slide the shaft safety stud into the hole
in the worktable. See picture 3.
•
Secure the two setting screws and place
the safety stud in the hole in the base.
Keep in mind that the stud must point
towards the setting screws.
•
Using the setting screws, adjust the
worktable so there is gap of 1.6 mm
between the table and grinding wheel.
Always use safety goggles, respirator and ear protection during work.

Test run
Before first use, inspect the following:
•
Make sure that all joints and connection are securely tighten.

Belt grinding
Changing and adjusting the belt
•
Loosen the safety screw and the rear stopper screw.
•
Remove the belt cover and loosen the sawdust
adapter screw.
•
Turn the tensioning handle in the required direction
to loosen the grinding belt.
•
Remove the old grinding belt (picture 4) and replace
with new one.
•
Turn the handle again. If the belt is not properly
tensioned or if it is not guided properly use the
tensioning screw to adjust it as needed.
•
Once you finish adjusting the belt, replace the belt
cover and tighten the screw.
Note
It is prohibited to use your machine without the belt installed.
Using the belt grinding in horizontal direction
•
Switch on the machine and wait till the grinding belt reaches maximum speed.
•
Hold the work piece firmly with both hands. Hold the end of the work piece with one hand. That will
enable you to move the work piece smoothly against the belt rotation.
•
Place your other hand slowly on the upper part of the work piece and press the work piece against the
grinding belt slightly.
•
Based on the work piece length use the rear stopper to prevent ejecting of the work piece by the belt force.
•
If the work piece is too long, remove the rear stopper.
Grinding procedure
•
Use the end of the belt arm for grinding.
•
Hold the work piece firmly and slightly press
it against the grinding belt.
•
To prevent excessive wear and tear of the belt
on one side only move the work piece around
the entire belt width. See pic. 10.
Belt grinding in vertical direction
The arm may set for use in vertical position.
•
Loosen the 2 nuts (pic. 7). One of the nuts is
covered by the arm. Lift the arm to vertical position.
