Side Stretch
Open your arms to the side and continue lift-
ing them until they are over your head. Reach
your right arm as far upward toward the ceil-
ing as you can for one count. Feel the stretch
up your right side. Repeat this action with
your left arm.
Remember always to check with your physician before starting any
exercise program.
COOL-DOWN
The purpose of cooling down is to return the body to its normal or near
normal, resting state at the end of each exercise session. A proper cool-
down slowly lowers your heart rate and allows blood to return to the
heart.
