3.3 Position safety washer (16) on each bracket
and fasten it with screw (17) applying some thread-
locker like Loctite ®270 or similar with a 3[Nm] (2
[lb∙ft]) tightening torque.
The non-use of screw (17) and of safety washer (16)
results in dangers to things and injury of people.
DANGER
4.1 Lock the four engines:
- straight and parallel if no convergence or divergence
is required (fig. 1)
- convergent outer engines (fig. 2)
- divergent outer engines (fig.3)
NOTE
With the same distance between centers of the engines,
the "L" length of the bar will vary according to the chosen
convergence or divergence angle.

WARNING
When setting the convergence or divergence
angle, follow the instructions given by the
engine manufacturer, by imposing in any
case and in any direction a total angle of no
more than 5° and the difference between the
measurements "A" (measurement of the dis-
tance between centers of the engines on the
boat) and "B" (distance between the propeller
shafts) of less than 1" (25.4 mm) (see picture).
WARNING
Follow the engine adjustment procedure
exactly.
WARNING
In case of different mounting heights, the height
difference between the central and side engines
must be less than 44.5 mm (1
¾
in.).
