When operating vehicle
batteries, always follow the
advice of the manufacturer of
the battery and of the vehicle .
Wear personal protective
equipment such as safety
goggles, hand gloves and
dust mask . We recommend the
use of acid and alkali-resistant
hand gloves . Use of personal
protective equipment reduces
the risk of injury .
Be attentive and use common
sense during operation .
Never leave the appliance
unattended during use .
A moment of inattention
may result in serious injury
or damage to the appliance
and / or vehicle .
Fuels and lubricants can be
hazardous to health . Avoid
direct skin contact and
inhalation of fumes .
CAUTION! Danger of
burns!
Take special care
when working with vehicle
batteries . Battery acid may
leak causing serious injuries .
If the battery acid get into
contact with skin or eyes, flush
it with water and consult your
physician .
Make sure that the vehicle
is not parked on a sloped
ground, otherwise it might not
be possible to pump out all
oil . Make sure that the parking
brake is engaged .
Grasp the terminals only by the
insulated handles . Pay attention
to correct polarity . Connect
the positive pole terminal to
the positive pole of the vehicle
battery and the negative
terminal to the negative pole
(see “Getting started”) .
