Now, the foil should be assembled and ready to attach to your board.
• The base of the mast has 8
holes to allow you to move the foil 25mm in
front of and behind the tracks in your board. Always use 4 holes through
which the M8 x 30mm screw and washer go into the slider nuts. The 4
slider nuts are slid into the 90mm wide tracks on your board. The raised
side of the slider nut should face the bottom of the board. Space them
similar to the holes in the mast, place the mast base over them, and
then screw the M8 screws into the slider nuts by hand. When all 4 are in
place, tighten by hand using the 5mm Allen key provided. (Never use a
battery- or power-tool on any foil-related screws).
• Be careful not to cross
-thread or overtighten these bolts.
• Now, check all fasteners to
ensure that they are well hand tightened.
• A 10mm strip of foil tape can be
stuck to one side of the fuselage to take
up any slight play that is found in the fuselage and front wing junction.
