These instructions are for helping the user to operate the visomat
®
comfort 20/40 digital blood
pressure measuring device safely and efficiently.
The device must be used according to these instructions and for no other purpose than that
stated therein.
It is important to read and understand all the instructions.
Read these instructions carefully and familiarize yourself above all with the chapter “Basic
rules for blood pressure measurement“.
There may be a flaw in the accuracy of the measurement if absolute quiet is not observed
while the measurement is being taken or the conditions stated (temperature or air humidity)
are outside those parameters laid down in the specifications.
Inaccurate results may occur if the blood pressure measuring device is used on children.
Consult your doctor if you wish to take a child’s blood pressure.
Notes on use
The visomat
®
comfort 20/40 is based on the non-invasive analysis of the systolic and diastolic
blood pressure and the measurement of adults’ pulse rates i.e. those of people 15 years of
age and over.
