Select a position in the aircraft not too close to any high external heat
source. ZPX-A is not a significant heat source itself and does not
need to be kept away from other devices for this reason.

Avoid sharp cable bends and placing the cables too close to aircraft
control cables.
Secure the transponder to the aircraft via the two (2) integrated mounting
lugs. The lugs are designed to accept screws up to size M3 or 4-40. Thread
locking compound should be used as appropriate. ZPX-A should be
mounted on a flat surface.
Note: A civil installation of ZPX-A must accord with AC43.13-2B, Chapter 1.
7.6 Wiring
ZPX-A requires connections to power, ground, an RS-232 control interface,
and an RS-232 position interface.
