CAUTION! Turn off and unplug vacuum before
performing maintenance.
EXHAUST FILTER REPLACEMENT
1. Turn off and unplug vacuum.
2. Carefully turn vacuum on side and remove exhaust
cover located on bottom of vacuum by removing
four thumb screws. (See Figure 7)
3. Remove two wing nuts holding filter onto vacuum.
(See Figure 8)
4. Replace filter in proper position and tighten nuts.
5. Reinstall exhaust cover.
NOTE: Replace exhaust filter every six months.
BELT ADJUSTMENT AND REPLACEMENT
1. Turn off and unplug vacuum.
2. Carefully turn vacuum on side to remove belt cover
on left side of vacuum by removing three screws
(two on side and one on bottom). (See Figure 9)
3. Loosen motor belt adjusting screws on motor bracket
and remove belt. (See Figure 10)
4. Install new belt and reposition motor belt adjusting
screw to eliminate excess slack.
5. Once proper tension is set, tighten motor adjusting
screws.
6. Replace belt cover on side of vacuum.
