6 Configuring Your Data Collector /Data
Management
The configuration utility provide user with easy configurations of barcode
settings, function settings and operating modes according to user
requirement.
User can upload and examine the scanned barcode data via the
configuration utility.
6.1 Access to the Utility
Comm Port:
Select the proper COM port to establish the
communication between the computer and the data
collector.
Note: Select the correct COM Port
Select the proper COM port so as to establish the
connection to the data collector.
Password:
Only authenticated and authorized users should be
able to access the utility. Please refer to “
(page 47) to change the password.
