1. Purpose and principle of function
The essence pump is an optional extra for steam generators and saunas. It is connected to the steam generator's steam pipe, and
feeds a selectable amount of fragrance into the pipe at regular intervals. The fragrance mixes with the steam and is sprayed into the
sauna to give a pleasant scent.
The pump is intended to be controlled from certain Tylö steam generators, and is therefore connected to the generator connection
terminal according to fig. 5. The pump can also be controlled from an alternative 230VAC source which will provide current for as
long as the pump is set to run. The pump can also be controlled via a constant connection on the signal cable, but the signal
converter shown in fig. 5
must
be disconnected. In this instance, the pump will run as long as there is a connection on the cable.
NB: If the signal converter is disconnected, the pump can no longer be powered by 230V.
2. Safety instructions
Before installing and using the essence pump, read the installation/user guide. All points must be observed. The manufacturer
cannot be held liable for damage caused by incorrect installation or use.
