Chapter 3: Replacing Pre-Installed Components

49

2. Remove the ten screws to release the backplane.

3. Turn the locking keys at the base of the backplane as 

shown.

4. Pull out the backplane.

5. Place a new backplane in position and secure in place 

with the ten screws and locking keys released in step 2 
and 3.

6. Reconnect all the cables to the backplane.
