Step 6
: Position the CPU over the
socket, ensuring that the gold
triangle is on the bottom-left
corner of the socket.
The CPU fits in only one
correct orientation. DO
NOT force the CPU into
the socket to prevent
bending the connectors on
the socket and damaging
the CPU.
Step 7
: Close the load lever of the
socket and press the CPU socket
lever down to lock the CPU in
place.
Step 8
: Insert the load lever under
the retention tab. Repeat the
same procedures to install the
other CPU.
