2.1.1   Installing Hard Drives 

 

The GT20A-B7040 barebone supports (4) 3.5” and 2.5” hard trays. Follow these 
instructions to install a hard drive into the hard tray. 
 
 

Warning!!! 

Always install the hard disk drive to the chassis after the chassis is secured on 
the rack. 
 

 

1.  Press the locking lever latch in the direction of arrow (A) and then 

pull the locking lever open (B).
