3.7      Removing Motherboard Procedures 

Follow these instructions to replace the motherboard. 
 

3.7.1      Disconnecting All Motherboard Cables 

 
Before replacing the motherboard or certain components, disconnect cables 
connected to the motherboard then the motherboard can be easily take out. Follow 
these instructions to remove all motherboard cables. 
 

1.  Disconnect the 8-pin power cables, mini SAS cable and Front Panel cable.   

   

 

2.  Disconnect the system fan cable.
