7. Place the heat sink on top of the processor with the fan to
the rear of the chassis as shown.
Note:
All heat sinks must be installed with
fans facing the rear of the chassis to ensure
efficient cooling.
8. Tighten the two screws on the heat sink to secure them in
place.
Note:
Each heat sink should be secured
with two screws, each with a spring beneath
them. When installing or removing heat sinks
the two screws should be turned alternately,
a little at a time, to prevent the heat sink form
springing up on one side, or being tightened
down unevenly.
9. Connect the fan to the appropriate pin header as shown.
