3. 

If the brake fluid level is below the mark or while 
applying  brake  if  you  feel  the  brake  is  more 
spongy or ineffective due to air entry, contact TVS 
Motor  Company  Authorised  Main  Dealer  or 
Authorised Dealer for topping-up the brake fluid, 
air bleeding and other brake related inspections.

Brake pad wear indicator (Disc brake)

Check  for  the  wear  of  brake  pads  visually.  if  found 
beyond  the  wear  indicator  groove  as  shown  in  the 
figure then, replace the brake pads as a set with a new 
one.

Rear brake

1. 

Measure the free play of the rear brake lever at 
the lever end as shown in the figure.

2. 

The  free  play  of  the  brake  lever  before  the 
engagement of brake should be between        15 
~ 20 mm.

3. 

If the measured distance is more than the limit, 
adjust the nut provided at the rear wheel end to 
obtain the correct play.
