connection for membrane expansion vessel
Pull the feed and return line from the mount-
ing plate [12].
Mark drilling points for the mounting plate [12]
on the wall and drill two ø8 mm holes.
Insert the wall plugs and secure the mounting
plate [12] in place by using the screws and
washers.
Align mounting plate horizontally.
Slide rear insulation shell onto mounting plate
[12].
Check to ensure the springs [13] are seated
correctly in the slots of the mounting plate
sockets.
Slide the rear insulating shell [16] over the
seating sleeves, press the flow and return line
onto the taps of the ball valves and into the
seating sleeves until they engage.
The return ball valve accommodates the solar
safety unit with a solar safety valve [3], a boil-
er filling and drain valve [4], a connection for
the solar expansion vessel [5] and a pressure
gauge [6].
Caution !
Use a suitable pipe to collect any heat
transfer fluid from the relief valve in a
collecting vessel.
