Not selected as an Input Device
Go to Settings > Devices and make sure that the Elite 800X headset is bound to your
Xbox Live Account.
Voice chat can also be effected by the NAT Type Configuration of your internet connec
tion. If your NAT Type is listed as STRICT in the Xbox One Wireless Settings we suggest
that you work with Xbox Support to correct this for the best chat experience.
Mic muted
Press the Mic Mute Button on the right earcup of the Headset. A high tone in the
Headset will confirm that the mic is now on.
Voice Chat Drops
Bluetooth not working
Try using the Bluetooth pairing instructions
(see
“Bluetooth Pairing” on page 22
) to pair your headset to a different
Bluetooth-ready mobile phone than the one you usually use. With the headset paired to the phone, call a friend/relative.
