Adjusting ‘Free play’ for swingarm on PCB
The PCB has 2 potentiometers (‘Free play’ and ‘Adjust A’) onboard which can be adjusted.
As shown on the picture below, the left potentiometer adjusts ‘Free play’. Turning the
potentiometer ‘Free play’ to the right will allow more play.
More play means the shoe will
have to move more before the wheels will react.
Basic setting ‘Free play’
We adjust ‘Free play’ until the swingarm can move 1cm in both directions (total 2 cm)
relative to the centerline, before the wheels react. This amount of free play is necessary.
If the amount if free play differs greatly, adjust potentiometer ‘ADJUST B’ until it has free
play of +/- 2 cm.
Note:
*turning ‘ADJUST B’ to the left means less play
little movement for the swingarm before tractor wheels start steering.
*turning ‘ADJUST B’ to the right means more play
more movement for the swingarm before tractor wheels start steering.

Free play:
Inactive angle of shoe movement, where
wheels will not steer
PCB Autosteer: position ‘Free play’ potentiometer.
