Key Switch and LED display
Located on the left side of the front body panel.
The key only requires a 1/4 turn to power on the unit.
The Red LED
When the power is on and the Turf Chopper is operational, the LED will glow solid red.
If there is a problem with your Turf Chopper the red LED will flash a fault code sequence. Examples of a
flashing fault code sequence could be a 3, 2 or 1, 3 or 2, 2 etc.
If you have a fault code take note of it and contact tech support
If the light does not come on when the key is in the on position?
The most often causes to look at first: are:
1.The red Kill Switch, (left-hand side of the handlebar) is not in the up position.
And/or
2.The manual brake release (at the back of the unit) is not in the down position.

Manual Parking Brake Release
Located at the back right of all Turf Choppers.
The manual brake release is used when moving your Turf Chopper without the aid of power.
The manual "Brake Release" is engaged when the lever is in the "Up" position and disengaged when in the
"Down" position.
Note To operate your Turf Chopper the manual "Brake Release" lever must be in the down position.
The brake release lever handle may be either red or yellow in colour depending on model

SF Dismantle Points
Located, on the front of the frame x 2, 1 on both left and right sides of the frame and 2 on seat post.
These are used when dismantling and re-assembled your SF model
•
To Disassemble your SF model, you first put your SF (in walking mode) on the provided stand under
the unit the front of the frame
•
Remove the body panel and place it aside
•
Remove the 4
1” keyring lock pins from the frame of the Turf Chopper. Replace them back after
each change to prevent loosing them.
•
Hold the handlebar and inside handle and lift while rotate outwards. The frontend will side out from
the receiving ports on the main body.
•
Remove the pins from the seat post and side off the top section of the seat frame.
