4.2 TBEN-LH-8IOL configuration using generic device profile
4.2.1 Generic device configuration
The procedure:
In the Controller Organizer, right-click on
Ethernet
to display a drop-down menu.
Click
New Module
to open the configuration page
“Select Module Type”
Enter
“Generic”
in the search area, highlight the
Generic Ethernet Module
and click
Create

Enter the
Name
,
Description
and
IP Address
in the
New Module
page
Select the
Input Data – INT
data format in the
Comm Format
field
Enter the Connection Parameters as seen in the following figure
Click
OK
and download configuration to the PLC
