Attach the cord and activation clips to the hood.

For the pull ball

configuration, attach the cord

to the front of the hood using

a lanyard hitch knot.

For the Essex standard

configuration, attach the cord

to the two small fabric loops

at either side of the hood

using the split rings.

Rearm the simulated oxygen cylinders as described in 3.3.
