With a stepless controlling process (possible at air curtain units with EC fans) the air outlet power of the air
curtain unit will be adapted continuously.
With a stepped controlling process (at air curtain units with AC fans) the internal reference signal changes like-
wise continuously, but the fans can only operated at the non-varying operating stages. In case of reaching the
internal switching thesholds the air curtain unit switches than to the next needed stage (power stages 1-5) and
the numeric value of the stage indicator turnes to the next possible number.
With both controlling processes the control progress (increase - decrease) will be shown by a trend marker
below the bargraph display.
