Dual function of some wires.
In some cases have orange wire ( ignition) and brown (pager) different functions . In some vehicles is orange wire
connected on +12V (e.g. to found out state of car, for trunk) and somewhere is brown wire used as additional ground
(door locking).
Always precisely read mounting list to certain type of car
– necessary connection of wires and
connectors.
Programming
Setup of parameters is done trough USB port, PC and
supplied software. Software enables to set following :

Vehicle type
– set brand name and type of vehicle
-
Ultrasonic detector sensitivity
– set sensitivity of ultrasonic
sensor.

Control by CAN
– enabling car control of lights and automatic
closing of windows via CANBUS for some cars (VW, Audi,
Seat, Skoda, Mercedes, Mitsubishi).

OEM alarm detection
– when function is enabled and OEM
alarm is triggered, alert will be via DS500 alarm.

Siren type
– is possible to choose the siren type:
>
Analogue
– classic type siren, supplied with alarm.
>
Digital
– back-up type siren.
>
Speaker horn
– the siren without electronics (piezoelectric
type).

Windows roll-up time
–
set roll-up time of windows with RF
Module.

Rear 3-pole connector
– The rear 3-pole socket of the DS500
has 3 functions, configurable via PC software.
>
As
additional sensor input
,
the socket allows connection the
sensor to the DS500. The +12V in the socket is protected by
electronic fuse, the GNS is switched on when the alarm is
armed and the input is triggerred by a negative signal.
>
As
additional RF module input
, the socket is dedicated to
connect the RF module DS500 DO. The DS500 can be
armed/disarmed by the system remotes if the additional RF
(radio receiver) module is connected to the rear connector of
2nd additional sensor. The RF module has two dedicated low-
current negative control outputs. They allow to lock/unlock
vehicle central door locking system by means of analogue
signals. If the power windows roll-up time is programmed, the
“lock” analogue output signal is prolonged for a given time.

As
analogue power windows roll-up output
, the GND in the
socket is switched on when arming, as long as the windows
roll-up time is programmed. That allows to roll-up windows
after arming with the OEM remote without the need to
purchase the RF module.
> As sensor with
prealarm
for additional sensor with pre-alarm
function - like shock sensor. First level (short impulses) only
activate only few chirp of siren and second level (long
impulse) will go siren.
- Audible confirmation
– set audible confirmation when alarm is armed or disarmed.

Brown wire output
– is possible to choose as::
> pager
– output is activated when alert
> pulsed pager
– output is dedicated for klaxon control (by additional relay).
> Reverse gear
– If that parameter is programmed, the Pager output (J2-7, brown wire) function changes. As long as the
reverse gear is being selected, the output i s switched to ground, for the purpose of the additional parking distance control
system. This function is available for car model No.: 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 22, 37, 39, 51, 55, 57, 63, 65, 70, 73, 94, 95.

– set emergency PIN code to disarm alarm.

Alarm memory
– read 5 last incidents, which triggered alarm

Ignition safety door lock
– if parameter is programmed, doors are automatic locked when ignition is on.
